Well, the man is almost 83, so how’d you expect him to look?
And in fairness to Mick Jagger, he’s still in remarkably fit shape for a man his age. He moves well, and with far less stiffness than other men his age. He doesn’t stumble or trip and fall regularly, has no trouble climbing stairs or dancing and he doesn’t have an awkward habit of falling asleep randomly in the middle of the day like the current US President and his immediate predecessor…
Mick Jagger goes to the gym six times a week. He does kickboxing, yoga, ballet, cycling, swimming and pilates… on top of his weekly dance rehearsals for live performances and tours he still regularly goes on. He’s also been in a relationship for twelve years now with a woman in her thirties, and I’m quite sure having a much younger spouse who doesn’t absolutely despise you is the elixer of eternal youth for many an old geezer — it sure has Jagger grinning like a shark in literally picture I’ve seen of the man. But then again, that’s his go-to expression anyway.
Not bad for a man who nearly died of an overdose in the late 1970s and who was a very prolific drug abusing party animal for the first two decades of his public life. Until about age forty, Jagger was a major addict whose lifestyle took out many a lesser God in their prime; he got out early and has been clean as a whistle since the mid 1980s after which his new addiction became fitness — a great combo with his other long-time addiction: women. If he looks “old” it’s because he lived a wild life, but he came out of it better than most.
