One night around 1 a.m

One night around 1 a.m., a woman was driving her Chevy Cobalt on a quiet highway in Ontario, Canada, when her car suddenly broke down.

Three teenage boys were on their way to grab a late-night snack after swimming when they noticed the car and the woman in trouble. They pulled over, still in their swimsuits, and tried to fix the car. They quickly realized that it couldn’t be fixed.

The woman told them she couldn’t afford to have her car towed, so the boys—Aeron McQuillin (18), Bailey Campbell (17), and Billy Tarbett (15)—decided to help her in a different way. They pushed the woman’s car all the way to her home, which was over 4 miles away.

For more than three hours, the boys pushed while the woman steered. At one point, another driver, Dan Morrison from Niagara Falls, saw what they were doing. He slowed down to give them some light and kept his flashers on to keep them safe. He was impressed by the boys’ kindness.

Dan said, “I’d never met these kids before. Dad mode kicked in, and I just wanted to make sure they were safe.”

Would they do it again? Definitely.

Billy, the youngest of the boys, said, “We were raised to help no matter what… We were helping her, but she was also helping us by giving us a good workout.”

Dan shared the story on social media, and it quickly went viral.
