When Titanic was re-released in 3D by James Cameron in 2012, he made a tiny correction to the film.

When asked about this tweak to the scene, he was quoted by UK mag Culture saying:

“Oh, there’s one shot I fixed. Because there are things that Neil deGrasse Tyson, one of the U.S. top astronomers, shot me a pretty snarky email and said, at that time of year, at that point in the Atlantic in 1912, when Rose is lying on the piece of driftwood and looking up to the stars, that is not the field of stars she would’ve seen, and with my reputation as a perfectionist, I should’ve known that, I should’ve had the right field of stars.

“So I said, ‘Fine, you son of a bitch, send me the correct stars for the minute, 4:20 a.m, April 15, 1912, and I’ll put it in the movie.’ So that’s a single shot that was altered.”
