Valya Kharicheva was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma, and her doctors told her she probably wouldn’t live to see another New Year.
Knowing their daughter was leaving them soon, Valya’s parents wanted to give her a special holiday. Valya had two wishes—to meet Sasha Petrov, a famous Russian movie star loved by many young girls, and to get a new iPhone.
One evening, a young man came to her with an iPhone as a gift. At first, Valya didn’t recognize him because her eyesight was poor. But when she realized who it was, she cried tears of joy—because the iPhone was brought by… Sasha Petrov himself!
Valya was so happy she barely noticed the iPhone. She just laughed at Sasha’s jokes and cried from happiness. Sasha did all of this for free.
A few days later, Valya peacefully passed away in her sleep.
