Two weeks before Marlon Brando passed

Two weeks before Marlon Brando passed away in 2004, he changed his will. In this new will, he publicly recognized eleven of his children, even though he had more than that.

He decided to leave out one of his daughters, Petra, from the inheritance. Interestingly, he also disinherited Tuki Brando, who is the son of his late daughter Cheyenne. Tuki was someone Marlon was close to, and Cheyenne was his favorite child.

There were many Brando family members and not a lot of money to go around. With ten children mentioned in the will and about thirty grandchildren, the total inheritance of around 30 million US dollars didn’t mean much for each person after fees and deductions.

Tuki Brando, the only grandchild specifically left out, didn’t feel hurt or upset. He believed his grandfather did this to help him avoid the burden of wealth and to encourage him to create his own path in life.

Tuki became a successful male model and also studied medicine. Now, he is a doctor and lives a quiet life away from fame. Most of the other Brando family members also live private lives; none of them are very rich, and none chose to work in the entertainment industry.
