This teenager was filling up his Mustang at the gas station when an older man pulled up beside him with a can for his lawnmower and was patiently waiting. The teenager noticed the man, took the nozzle out of his car, and said, “Sir, can I please see your can?” He then filled it up for him, even though the older man tried to stop him. Once the can was full, the teenager put the nozzle back into his own car and finished filling up. He wouldn’t accept any money from the man and wished him a wonderful day.
This kindness happens all over the country, in many different ways. Teach your children to be like this. It all begins at home, with good parenting. Be a parent, not just a friend.
