This is my handsome little boy Rigley. He’s such a sweet little man.
When I went to the rescue, there were 9 puppies. The lady asked me which one I wanted to see. I said “all of them- I’ll know the right puppy when I see them”. I sat down on the floor between all puppies and this little man immediately climbed in my lap, and I knew the moment, as he lay his head on my shoulders, I would love him with all my heart and he would balance out our home. (I have 2 other dogs:
1 senior, 1 nine month old highly energized terrier puppy and one senior cat) – all rescues.
He’s about 6 1/2 months old now, 38 lbs. it’s been so much fun watching him explore the world and learn. And watch him get bigger every single day.
It took him awhile to learn “shake” and one day after a month or so he just did it. He’s so proud of himself, he always wants to shake now and get a treat. E.g, good morning loves. Rigley shakes – “now where’s my treat”?
