She said,
“Don’t call the doctor. I want to fall asleep quietly, with your hand holding mine.”
He talked about their past—how they met, their first kiss.
They didn’t cry, they smiled.
They didn’t feel sorry about anything, they felt thankful. Then she softly said again,
“I love you forever!”
He said the same back and gave her a gentle kiss on her forehead.
She closed her eyes and fell asleep peacefully, holding his hand.
Love is really what matters most because we all come into this world with only love, and leave with only love.
Think about that.
Jobs, money, things we own—these are just tools, nothing more.
Everything else stays behind.
So just love…
Love those who truly love you.
Love like there is nothing else more important in life.
