Is it possible that Russian troops abandon their equipment to slow

Is it possible that Russian troops abandon their equipment to slow down the Ukrainian forces?

Of course it is – I mean that’s clearly what’s happening here.

They’re abandoning tanks, guns and munitions to distract the Ukrainian forces who stand around all confused looking at all the free equipment they just scored. While the Ukrainians are distracted with all the free stuff, Russian troops who just abandoned it will (probably) live to fight another day (although they may have to share guns or possibly even just point at the enemy and yell Хлопнуть! Хлопнуть! (bang bang!) because they left all thier guns behind. #geniustactics.

Putins troops have already demonstrated their military resolve by blowing up their own naval flagship (or possibly dropping cigarettes on ammunition on board?) just to deny the Ukranians the opportunity to blow it up themselves. There’s been an awful lot of Russians taking part in a Special Reverse Military Operation or ‘redeployment’. I think it’s only a matter of time before it’s announced that 15,000 – 20,000 Russian troops also killed themselves on Ukrainian soil just to deny Ukraine the satisfaction.

I’m slightly confused though… I know Russia was applying sanctions to countries that were supplying Ukraine with equipment. As the (now) biggest supplier of military equipment to Ukraine, are they going to sanction themselves?

I’m not sure I understand these tactics and from what I can tell Russia appears to be terrible at tactics, good at running away, they fight badly and are making no real headway …and the only thing Russia seems to be ‘winning’ at is body count of thier own troops BUT … I’m a civilian and what do I know of these things? 😏
