In early May 2006, Brandee Canipe was last seen by her youngest sister, who was in fifth grade at the time. Brandee had dropped her off at the school bus stop that morning, and everything seemed normal.
On May 6, 2006, Brandee was last seen again at her home on US Route 158 in Mocksville, North Carolina. After that, she never came back—and no one has heard from her since.
Over the years, her family grew more and more worried, especially when Brandee didn’t show up to the funerals of several relatives. That was not like her.
Finally, on April 19, 2010—almost four years after she disappeared—one of Brandee’s younger sisters filed a missing persons report with the Davie County Sheriff’s Office.
To this day, no one knows what really happened to Brandee Canipe.
