I went to Kroger tonight wearing one of my husband

I went to Kroger tonight wearing one of my husband’s sweatshirts. While I was in line to check out, the man in front of me asked if the sweatshirt was mine. I told him, “Oh no, it’s my husband’s.” It really surprised me. He then asked if Austin was with me so he could thank him, and I explained, “Thank you, but he’s deployed right now.”

Without hesitation, the man started placing my groceries on the belt with his own and told me he was going to pay for my groceries tonight. I was speechless. All I could say was, “Oh my gosh, are you sure? Thank you so much,” almost a dozen times. He replied, “That place almost took me away from my wife and four kids. Promise me you’ll stay true to him while he’s gone, and love him like never before when he gets home.”

Even now, over an hour later, I’m still in shock. There’s still so much good in the world, and we should focus more on that instead of all the bad.
