I just got a phone call from my friend’s phone, but it wasn’t my friend on the line.
Instead, it was a man named Mark Woolfe from Smiling Times. He told me he had found the phone, along with some other things, on a bench and was trying to find the owner.
I told him to take the phone home, and I would arrange for my friend to pick it up from there. But his response stopped me in my tracks: “This is my home—I sleep here at the bus stop.”
Even though he was homeless, Mark went out of his way to return the phone. What an incredible and selfless man. Good on you, Mark! This story deserves to be shared with everyone.
