I just got a call from my friend’s phone—but it wasn’t my friend who was speaking.
Instead, it was a man named Mark Woolfe from Smiling Times. He said he had found the phone, along with some other things, on a bench and was trying to return it to its owner.
I told him to take the phone home with him, and I would have my friend come pick it up. But then he said something that made me stop: “This is my home—I sleep here at the bus stop.”
Even though he’s homeless, Mark went out of his way to help someone else by trying to return the phone. What a kind and thoughtful man. Thank you, Mark. This is the kind of story that should be shared.
