An elderly man, who hadn’t driven in years, drove himself to the store to buy his wife of 79 years a small box of chocolates for Valentine’s Day. A concerned customer at the store saw him driving and called the police to make sure he got home safely. Deputy Gulley responded to the call, learned what was going on, and decided to do something special for the couple. He and a few customers put together a gift basket for them.
Officer Gulley then went to the man’s house, made sure he got home okay, and personally delivered the gift basket to the couple. What a kind and thoughtful officer! Thumbs up to Deputy Gulley for his big heart and going above and beyond!
