After 559 days, Collin is finally free of his diseased body. At 5:22pm on July14th he took his last breath. I was laying beside him snuggled up and reassuring him we would be okay. He was surrounded by our boys and his mother, and he passed so peacefully without pain or distress. But the pain and despair our family is feeling in his absence is indescribable. It’s thick and heavy and palpable. 💔😭 I don’t expect that to go away anytime soon, or ever. Collin and I build a beautiful life together, and I will do everything in my power to make sure his legacy continues. The boys and I are shattered, we will need a lot of support navigating these next days, months, even years. We are scared. We are broken, We don’t want to do life on earth without him. But we will continue to fight and show up for each other every damn day. Because we are Jager Strong. 💪💔🙏😭
