A fox has been coming into my back garden since March, and we think he’s really lovely. At first, when he started showing up, I ignored him. To be honest, I don’t know much about foxes, and my dog goes wild barking every time he sees him. I also didn’t want the fox to rely on me.
But now, he’s here every evening! After those first few days, I just couldn’t ignore his little face looking in through the glass door. It’s not always easy—I have to either distract my dog, get him into the lounge, or pull down the conservatory blinds.
Now that the fox comes every day, I’m wondering if I should be doing anything for him, like flea or worm treatment. I don’t think anyone else is doing it, since he shows up like clockwork every night. I’ve been feeding him chicken wings, a bowl of wet dog food with a Bonio biscuit, and usually a raw egg.
