Why do many women justify cheating when they are caught?
Because women who cheat are liars, basically. But it’s a little more complicated than that.
Suppose you (a woman) cheat for the first time.
Before this very first cheating, you never cheated before — so you were not a cheater before.
So why now ?
Since you never were a cheater before, and now you were (kind of) trapped into cheating, isn’t it obvious that there should be some external reasons — totally beyond your control — which made you cheat in the first place ?
The answer, of course, is yes.
You are innocent, and the one you cheated on — your soon to be “ex” — is the cause of what happened. He or she did it to him— or herself.
You are totally innocent !
You might be laughing, but actually I saw many ex-wives of friends tell this exact same story.
They are always innocent.
“Are guys different then ?” — I hear you ask
Yes and No.
Yes, in the sense that they claim to be innocent at first, but the “at first” is important. Usually, they admit it really fast that they were wrong (“Sheila’s boobs were just better”), making them dumber, but also more honest.
In my humble experience, cheating women never give in.
I once had a female friend who was cheated big time by her boyfriend, who was sleeping with her best friend behind her back.
“He was a total asshole — really !!”
One evening, when we were having drinks in a pub, and talked about our ex-partners, she also told me — just like that — that she had slept with one of his friends.
When I tried to explain to her that this was cheating as well, she got mad at me.
She was innocent, you see.
